People try to alter checks, will-will's, and other types of legal documents. They might try to change a name on the will so that they could get the some items. They could also do this sort of thing with a check. Handwriting analysis is looking at someone's handwriting and picking out characteristics of it. They use this in sloving all sorts of crimes. They have suspect's handwriting then and have them write a paragraph and see if it matches. You can see if they write in cursive or print, if they connect some of their letters, or where they cross their t's. Someone might have breaks in certain letters. They may also slant their writing one way or the other. Handwriting can be very very important to solving crimes
